Shingai Shoniwa, lead singer and bassist of the Noisettes, is a goddess.  “Never Forget You”, from their 2009 album Wild Young Hearts, a visual confection and awesome track.  Deco infused images with silver Doc Martens and those dresses!  The final image, her silhouette against fire red, timeless.  Europe during the Jazz Age, I’m sure I was there.

A momentary break from reality.  As I sit analyzing leadership theories, trying to condense and retain information, my mind wanders.  Happy to be free of my tenuous hold it runs rampant through its schema.  Popping out random bits of yesterdays and tomorrows, completely ignoring the text saturated now.  Images of love and laughter come so quickly and layer so deeply I’m immersed.
